Quarantine Hobby

during these trying times, it can be hard to get outside, or exercise when you don't have access to a gym. lazing around inside all day can have negative effects on your physical and mental health so its important to get out (by yourself, of course.) what I've been doing to combat this is going on daily walks along the spirit trail. my favourite times to go out are 3 pm , when its usually the warmest, and 8 pm, just before sunset so I can watch the sunset by the water. To some, this may sound mundane, but staying inside all day really makes you forget how lovely the world around us is, even if you've seen it thousands of times. if you want to spice up your walk and get a little social interaction in at the same time, you can always walk with a friend (maintaining 6 feet between you) or a family member! I only recently started going on walks, so my skin hadn't gotten direct sunlight for a while, so I always make sure I wear sunscreen, so I don't come home looking red...
